If anybody in the neighborhood needs invasive plants removed (such as ivy and blackberry), check out www.integralrestoration.com. I am especially interested in being as eco-friendly as I can, so I commute by bicycle (with travel trailer) and use only non-motorized tools. Check out my website for more information and my contact info. Thank you for your time.

Anyone interested in some casual carpooling?  I drive to downtown roughly twice a week (Tuesday & Wednesday) with a whole 2 or 3 seats empty.  I pass by people waiting at the bust stop all the time.  Hours are flexible, I'm usually outbound around 8am and return at 6pm.  I'm not looking for any gas money or anything, just having people to get me to the Colombia HOV exit is great!

Windermere realtor Kathy Macduff is another notorious self-promoter. We routinely receive her pens and headshot notepads. Each spring, she leaves a single daffodil bulb that looks pitiful all by itself. Only after seven years do we have a respectable bunch. While I'm sure she means well, perhaps the daffodils could be left together (as intended) and planted in the triangle park or near the rock. That would move product.

Notice a water pressure drop this afternoon?  A water main burst and flooded homes near the intersection of 24th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 80th Street.

Our Cars Have Been Prowled

This just sucks. About a half a dozen cars on our block were broken into last night. The bad guys, without breaking any windows, got away with mostly small electronics, CDs, and some Purell (?). We're on 26th south of 90th.

Home Sales Increase in 98115?

A little ray of real estate hope came in the form of my realtor Susan's monthly newsletter. In the 98115, March 2009 pending home sales had a 33% increase when compared to March 2008. Susan also notes that a number of homes received multiple offers which sounds like a good sign.
